Is this a safe space to say this movie didn't live up to my expectations? Don't get me wrong, some bits were good, but the plot was sooo bad in my opinion. The whole thing of the race engineer falling for a driver was just so yucky. I didn't like the way the women were portrayed and MAYBE I'm too woke but I dont care. I liked the driving sequences, and the plot for the 2 main characters was good (who happen to be men...) but idk I was a bit annoyed walking out of the cinema.
1000000/10 film. Maybe I'm bias becuase Kimi is one of favourite drivers, if not my #1, but shhh... I think the cinematography was stunning, the WhatsApp sponsor felt a bit forced, but who cares! the point still came across. I genuinely believe Kimi Antonelli can become a world champion one day if he keeps up what he's doing.
SUE ME I LOVED DRIVE TO SURVIVEEEEEE!!! I KNOW it's dramatised. I KNOW it's unrealistic. I KNOW it was made for girls. BUT GUESS WHAT? I'M A GIRL WHO LOVES DRAMA!! But on a serious note I think DTS is a great way of getting people into F1, and all the misoginistic annoying men can do one if they tell me im a loser for enjoying the drama. Hyped for the 8th season and I hope there are many more seasons to come.
